Happy Independance Day

Today is the 4th, the day of our country's Independence from England.  We studied the revolution last year with A's history, and I was amazed at how much I learned!  It was a war won, that nobody thought the American's would win, it was over and above what the planners and executors of the war thought could happen.  That has been happening alot in my life.

About a year ago I sold a house, that I didn't really want to sell, and moved to another place, that I didn't really want to go to.  But God has surprised me with things that are over and above what I thought could happen.  Sam and I have managed to find a house, that looks startlingly like our house in STL, unfortunately it needs more work that it did....but at least it was cheaper!

About a month ago, we realized we had an account open still in STL, with a bunch of money still in it, thankfully it will pay to have a rotten tree taken down, but God provided it before we even knew we needed it.

We moved on Friday, and met neighbors, and more neighbors, and more.  They are older, but wise, they are mostly original owners of these homes, but so knowledgeable about so much.  They've brought bread and cookies, and grandkids to play with my guys.  We prayed about neighbors, knowing they would never replace what we had with our friends the I's and V's, but it seems these guys are pretty awesome too.

God is full of surprises for us, we only have to slow down and open our eyes to the blessings that surround us each day.
