House Hunters

So we've been house hunting, really since we got here.  We moved into the house we live in know, site unseen, and really got lucky.  The area is great, plenty to do close by, and the drive for DH isn't bad at all, especially given the traffic we have here.  One of the great things about homeschooling, is we don't have a specific area we have to stay in, schools really make no difference to us, although we have kept them in the back of our minds, they certainly aren't the guiding factor.  This market is a great market for buying, but the downside, there is SOOOO much out there.  A general search for South of the city, which is where we'd love to stay, yielded, 835 results!  It's a bit overwhelming, but slowly but surely I'm weeding out where we'd like to be.

The first part of our search, I really wanted to be North, and DH wanted to be South, last week we reversed.  Today I think we both want to be South, maybe that will change tomorrow....

Someday we'll find a house, that's big enough for our growing family, but until then, I will wish I was on the House Hunters show, where they find a house by only seeing three ;-)
